Misson Statement
The mission of the Watertown Recreation Department is to provide the citizens of the Town with varied and comprehensive passive and active recreational, leisure and seasonal opportunities for a wide range of age groups and abilities.



Cops & Rec Street Hockey Grades: K - 8th

Time:  Grades K-2: 5:30-6:30pm

Description:

The Watertown Recreation and Police Department are collaborating to offer a summer street hockey program. The general objectives of the program are to promote sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun and positive setting. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the rules and fundamentals of street hockey such as stick handling and shooting. Registration is on first come first serve basis and all participants must sign up in advance not at the day of the program.

Pequossette summer program

The Watertown Recreation Department is offering the Pequossette Summer Program to children who are entering grades one through eight in the fall of 2017.

The program consists of eight individual weeks from June 27 through August 18, 2017 at the Hosmer School at 1 Concord Road in Watertown. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 2:30 pm, except for the first 2 weeks. We offer an early drop off from 7:30 am to 8:45 am and an extended day program from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Employment opportunities
Presently, Recreation has part time opportunities for people who enjoy working with youth and adults. We offer up to 18 hours per week for those who have the ability to work some afternoons, evenings and weekends. Please fill out and submit the application.

The summer season will be here before we know it and the Watertown Recreation Department is in the process of accepting applications for its seasonal staff for the summer. All potential returning and new applicants must complete the following documentation and returned it to the Watertown Recreation Department:
