Houston, Texas (March 20, 2017) – Riviana Foods Inc. is voluntarily recalling 610 cases of certain coded Ronzoni® Thin Spaghetti cartons that may contain an egg fettuccine product. The affected Ronzoni Thin Spaghetti cartons do not declare the allergen “egg”, which is an ingredient in the egg fettuccine product. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The affected product was processed at a Riviana co-manufacturer’s facility on January 20, 2017

(March 20, 2017) New Hamburg, Ontario - EuroCan Manufacturing is voluntarily recalling Lot Number 84 consisting of it's individually shrink-wrapped, 6-pack, 12-pack and 25-pack bags of Barnsdale Farms®, HoundsTooth® and Mac's Choice® Pig Ears because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella can affect animals eating the products and there is a risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the products or any surfaces exposed to these products.

Blue Buffalo Company is voluntarily recalling one production lot of BLUE Wilderness® Rocky Mountain RecipeTM Red Meat Dinner Wet Food for Adult Dogs, as the product has the potential to contain elevated levels of naturally- occurring beef thyroid hormones.


WellPet has initiated a voluntary recall of a limited amount of one canned topper product due to potential elevated levels of naturally occurring beef thyroid hormone.

Advanced Fresh Concepts Franchise Corp. (“AFC”) of Rancho Dominguez, California is recalling its Edamame (Soybeans) – UPC 0-23012-00261-9, dated between 01/03/2017 and 03/17/2017 because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Contamination was discovered via random testing under AFC’s Quality Assurance Program.

In response to Vulto Creamery’s expanded recall of raw milk cheeses, Whole Foods Market is voluntarily expanding its recall to include Andes, Hamden and Walton Umber cheeses sold in eight stores in Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York. The cheeses have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, pregnant women and others with weakened immune systems.


3/13/2017 The SoyNut Butter Co. of Glenview, IL is expanding its recall of I.M. Healthy Brand SoyNut Butter and granola products. The recall now includes Dixie Diner’s Club brand Carb Not Beanit Butter because they may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O157:H7 bacteria (E. Coli O157:H7). E. coli O157:H7 causes a diarrheal illness often with bloody stools.

Vulto Creamery, Walton, New York, is out of an abundance of caution expanded the recall to include all lots for four additional cheeses which include, by name the following: Andes, Blue Blais, Hamden & Walton Umber. In summary, Vulto Creamery has recalled the following eight cheese items: Heinennellie, Miranda,, Willowemoc, Ouleout , Andes, Blue Blais, Hamden & Walton Umber due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes.

King’s Command Foods, LLC., a Kent, Wash. establishment, is recalling approximately 26,138 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials.

Nonna Foods in Woodbury, New York, is voluntarily recalling 25 ounce jars labeled as Lidia’s Marinara Sauce bearing a Best By Date 06/13/2019, because the product may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Biery Cheese Co. is voluntarily expanding the recall of specialty cheese due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes. Deutsch Kase Haus, LLC of Middlebury, IN notified Biery Cheese Co. that a specialty Pepper Marble Jack cheese they supplied to Biery must be recalled due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogens.

Gerber Products Company of Florham Park, New Jersey, is initiating a voluntary recall of Cheese Ravioli Gerber® Pasta Pick-Ups® because the egg allergen is missing from the “Contains” statement. The full ingredient list on the package does list “egg” as an ingredient; however, the “Contains” statement, designed to further alert parents to allergens in the recipe, did not include “egg” as is required. Only consumers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg are at risk of serious allergic reaction if they consume this product.

In response to Vulto Creamery’s recall of soft wash- rind raw milk cheeses, Whole Foods Market is voluntarily recalling the products from nine stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine and New York out of an abundance of caution. The cheeses have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The SoyNut Butter Co. of Glenview, IL is recalling all varieties of I.M. Healthy SoyNut Butters and all varieties of I.M. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

F.B. Packing Co., Inc., a Boston, Mass. establishment, is recalling approximately 8,430 pounds of shaved beef products that may be contaminated with plastic.


Vulto Creamery, Walton, New York, is recalling all lots of Ouleout, Miranda, Heinennellie, and Willowemoc soft wash-rind raw milk cheeses out of an abundance of caution due to testing result from the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA), which found Ouleout lot # 617 positive for Listeria monocytogenes and New York Department of Agriculture and Markets finding the possible contamination of Ouleout lot #623. Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, pregnant women and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages, stillbirths and fetal infection among pregnant women.

Out of an abundance of caution, Evanger's Dog & Cat Food is voluntarily expanding its recall of Hunk of Beef and is also recalling Evanger's Braised Beef and Against the Grain’s Pulled Beef Products due to potential adulteration with pentobarbital. Oral exposure to pentobarbital can cause drowsiness, dizziness, excitement, loss of balance, nausea, nystagmus (eyes moving back and forth in a jerky manner), inability to stand, coma and death. Consumers who notice these symptoms in their pets should consult their veterinarian.

Manzana Products Co., Inc. is voluntarily recalling three different types of Trader Joe's Unsweetened Apple Sauces due to the potential presence of glass pieces.


Whole Foods Market® is recalling “Our Chefs’ Own” Spinach Orzo Salad sold in stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island due to an undeclared tree nut allergen. Only Spinach Orzo Salad with PLU 61159 and a “sold on” date of February 24 or before is included in this recall. The effected salad was sold from the chef cases or in prepackaged containers.

Deutsch Kase Haus, LLC of Middlebury, Indiana, supplied MDS Foods with cheeses that have been found to be contaminated with the pathogenic organism Listeria Monocytogenes which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women. At the time of this release, no illnesses have been reported.


Bee International, Inc. of Chula Vista, CA is recalling its 1.7oz. Plastic Heart Tubes with Chocolate Lentils because they may contain undeclared milk protein. People who have allergies to milk may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

New American Food Products, LLC issues allergy alert on Weigels's Mountain Valley and Royal Farms Market Place- Milk Chocolate Vanilla Caramels due to undeclared peanuts. The recall was initiated due to concerns of the possible presence of peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to specific types of allergen, such as peanuts, run the risk of serious life threatening allergic reactions if they consume the product being recalled.

Fromi USA is recalling its 7 cases of Soureliette cheese and 2 cases of Tomme Brebis Fedou because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Kettle Cuisine, LLC, a Lynn, Mass. establishment, is recalling approximately 3,096 pounds of chicken soup product due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.

Hy-Vee, Inc., based in West Des Moines, Iowa, is voluntarily recalling several candy trays because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The potential for contamination was brought to Hy-Vee’s attention when Palmer Candy Company announced a limited recall of certain chocolate products after it was informed by its supplier, Valley Milk Products LLC, that a milk powder ingredient used in a compound chocolate coating has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Palmer Candy Company (www.palmercandy.com), a privately-held, fifth-generation manufacturer of chocolate and holiday confections, announced today a limited recall of certain chocolate products after being informed by a supplier that a milk powder ingredient used in a compound chocolate coating that they supply to Palmer Candy Company has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Hostess Brands, LLC (“Hostess”) is voluntarily recalling its Holiday White Peppermint Hostess® Twinkies® because of a recall by Blommer Chocolate Company of the confectionary coating used on the Holiday White Peppermint Hostess Twinkies product. The confectionary coating contains milk powder ingredients recalled by Valley Milk Products, LLC due to a concern of Salmonella contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date, and none of the confectionary coating sampled has tested positive for Salmonella. However, Hostess is initiating this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution.

American Roland Food Corp., in cooperation with the manufacturer in Spain, is initiating a recall of one lot of Roland® Manzanilla Olives Stuffed with Anchovies, due to a product quality issue that may pose a potential health hazard to those who consume the product.

National Steak and Poultry, an Owasso, Okla., establishment, is recalling approximately 1,976,089 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products due to adulteration because of possible undercooking, resulting in the potential survival of bacterial pathogens in the products, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

The cases containing the products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-6010T” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to food service locations nationwide and were sold directly to retail consumers at the establishments’ monthly dock sale.

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. (NYSE: THS) today announced an amendment to the Best By Dates in its December 11, 2016, press release related to its voluntary recall of certain macaroni and cheese cup products. The products contain cheddar cheese seasoning which may be contaminated with Salmonella.

On December 19th, Route 11 Potato Chips was advised by its seasoning supplier that an ingredient in its Sour Cream & Chive seasoning was subject to a recall. The ingredient, nonfat dry milk powder, was produced in a facility where the FDA identified Salmonella in the environment.

Southeastern Mills, Inc. is initiating a voluntary recall of certain quantities of food ingredients and branded food mixes (Southeastern Mills Biscuit Gravy Mix, Southeastern Mills Country Biscuit Mix, Southeastern Mills Buttermilk Drop Biscuit Mix, Southeastern Mills Easy Drop Cheddar Garlic Drop Biscuit Mix, Shore Lunch Original Breading and Shore Lunch Cajun Style Breading) because these ingredients and food mixes contain milk or buttermilk powder purchased from Valley Milk Products, Inc. that is potentially contaminated with Salmonella.

Jackson, MI - Dawn Food Products is voluntarily recalling limited quantities of bakery mix products manufactured for Dawn by a third party and affected by a recall from Valley Milk Products of milk powder due to the possible presence of Salmonella.

Herrs Foods Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of some chipotle-flavored potato chips due to possible salmonella contamination. The recall covers Herr's smoked chipotle-flavored kettle cooked potato chips and Peddler's Pantry smoke-dried chipotle-flavored kettle cooked potato chips.

Bickel's Snack Foods, Inc., of York, PA is voluntarily recalling all snack products that were made with milk ingredients supplied by one of its' secondary seasoning component suppliers, Valley Milk Products LLC, due to Salmonella contamination. On 12/16/16, Bickel's Snack Foods, Inc. was notified Valley Milk Products, LLC initiated a recall of products made with milk powders or sour cream. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has been made aware of this recall.

Four Oaks, NC - House-Autry Mills, Inc. is voluntarily recalling limited quantities of House- Autry Buttermilk Cornbread Mix, House-Autry Buttermilk Biscuit Mix, and House-Autry Cheese Biscuit Mix as a precaution because one of the company’s third-party ingredient suppliers, Franklin Farms, had purchased milk powder from Valley Milk Products, Inc. This milk powder is potentially contaminated with Salmonella.

Womelsdorf, PA - Dieffenbach's Potato Chips, Inc. is issuing a voluntary recall for our Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chips. This decision was made after being informed by a seasoning supplier, that an ingredient in the seasoning may contain traces of salmonella. Although tests have shown no existence of salmonella in the seasoning that was supplied to Dieffenbach's, out of abundance of caution we are voluntarily issuing the recall of these products in conjunction with FDA guidance.

Rich Products Corporation in Buffalo, NY, is voluntarily recalling approximately 6,600 cases of ice cream cake products because they may contain undeclared walnuts. People who have an allergy to walnuts run the risk of a serious life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Poppies International, Inc. of Battleboro, NC is issuing a voluntary recall of all products that were made with custard powder containing affected milk ingredients supplied by a secondary supplier, Valley Milk Products LLC, due to the possible presence of Salmonella. Although no pathogenic bacteria have been found in any of our ingredients or in any of our products, we have decided to recall products produced using the affected ingredient from this supplier. No illnesses or adverse health effects resulting from these events have been reported to date.

Houdini Inc. of Fullerton, California is recalling limited quantities of Blue Cheese Savory Twists, 7 oz box after the FDA found traces of Salmonella at the manufacturing facility of the ingredient supplier for the powdered buttermilk used to make the Blue Cheese seasoning in these products. Although no pathogenic bacteria have been found in the powdered products supplied to our Savory Twist supplier by the ingredient manufacturer, nor in any of the Blue Cheese Savory Twists themselves, we have decided out of an abundance of caution to recall products produced from the specific lots purchased from this ingredient supplier.

Williams-Sonoma of San Francisco, CA is voluntarily recalling limited quantities of WILLIAMS-SONOMA MEYER LEMON POPPY SEED QUICK BREAD, as it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The ingredient supplier has issued a recall of the bulk milk powder.

Old Dutch Foods Inc. of St. Paul, MN is voluntarily recalling a limited number of Flavored Potato Chip and Tortilla Chip products that were made with milk ingredients supplied by one of its’ secondary seasoning component suppliers Valley Milk Products LLC, due to the potential risk of Salmonella contamination.

Arcadia Trading Inc. of Brooklyn, NY, is recalling 34 cartons of Lizard Fish because they have the potential to be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, a bacterium which can cause life-threatening illness or death. Consumers are warned not to consume the product even if it does not look or smell spoiled.

Fourth Street Barbecue Inc./ Packing Division has initiated the voluntary recall of Cheese Club Express Mac & Cheese 4 cup dinner and Double Takes Macaroni & Cheese 2 cup dinner due to possible health risk. The powdered cheese packets may be impacted by milk powder ingredients recalled by Valley Milk Products, LLC contaminated with Salmonella.

Lenny & Larry’s, Inc., announced today a nationwide voluntary recall of two flavors of Lenny & Larry’s Complete Cookie products -- Chocolate Chip and Coconut Chocolate Chip varieties – due to the possible presence of undeclared milk in the dark chocolate chips. Lenny & Larry’s, Inc. is taking this action out of an abundance of caution. People with a dairy allergy or sensitivity may run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
