On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

Fiscal 2009 Real Estate Valuations
The Assessors are required by Massachusetts General Laws to value all real and personal property within the community for local tax purposes. Fiscal 2009 Real Estate Valuations and property data are currently available in the Administrative Office.

Taxpayer Newsletter
For Fiscal 2009, the Assessors have completed a review of property assessments based on calendar year 2007 property sales.
