Participants:

The April Vacations Program is for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Filmmaking Classes for ages 10-14

In this class, students will bring creativity to life in a fun, collaborative and exciting environment. They will learn skills in scriptwriting, storyboard sketching, improvisation and camera skills. Together they will write, shoot and edit a film in a genre of their choosing and edit their project together using the professional editing software Adobe Premiere. All equipment is provided, all you need to bring is your creativity!

All projects made are eligible for submission into the 13th Annual Boston International Kids Film Festival in November of 2025!

April Break Intro to Skateboarding, Where Gravity Meets Style

At Arsenal Skatepark, 485 Arsenal St, Watertown from Tuesday – Friday, April 22 - April 25, 2025 from 9am to 12pm for ages 7-14. The cost is $220.

Boston Red Sox Recreation Day Trip

Grades K-12 on Thursday, April 24, 2025

Join the Watertown Recreation Department for a fun-filled trip to Fenway Park during April School Vacation Week to watch the Boston Red Sox take on the Seattle Mariners! After the game, kids will have the exciting opportunity to run the bases at Fenway Park. The cost is $75.

Drop Off: 11:30am-12:00pm at Victory Field
Bus Departs at 12pm for 1:35pm Game Time
Pickup: Approximately 5:00pm

Includes 1 Bleacher Ticket to the Game
Recreation Staff Supervision
