Edible Plants
Edible Plants invites artists across genres to engage with wildly growing edible plants in Watertown. The next cycle of the Edible Plants project is forthcoming in 2026.
2023-24:
In the 2023-24 season, writers and visual artists created work about ten species. The twenty participants, ten writers and ten visual artists displayed their work at City Hall, the Till Wave Gallery, the Watertown Free Public Library, and the Mosesian Center for the Arts:

2022-23:
Plants of Our Past was the pilot project for Edible Watertown. In Plants of our Past, ten visual artists were selected to each create a 2-dimensional artwork, one for each of ten edible wild plants in Watertown. The artwork was on display in Watertown in from September 2022 through January 2023. The artwork was compiled into a free coloring book, and 500 copies were freely distributed throughout the exhibition cycle. An additional 500 copies have been distributed since the exhibition cycle.
