WHEREAS, Section 2-7(e) of the City of Watertown Home Rule Charter provides that the City Council may, by ordinance, provide a salary for the Clerk of the Council.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Watertown that the Council hereby establishes the Clerk of the Council Salary as follows: Effective July 1, 2024 (Fiscal Year 2025) the salary for the Clerk of the Council shall be set at $30.00 per hour

This is not a price competition, but rather the City’s decision will be based upon qualifications and experience of the individual/firm. The City will initially evaluate and score all proposals. The City may schedule interviews with the highest scoring individuals/firms. The City will rank the finalists based on consideration of the minimum criteria/qualifications, the comparative evaluation criteria, and the interview (if applicable).
